The company made the announcement last week during a ceremony unveiling a 2-year extension to Celestyal's homeporting program in Turkey. In February 2016 the new vessel will be delivered to the line.
Built in 1992 as ms Gemini, Celestyal Nefeli will accommodate 1,074 passengers in 400 cabins (123 inside and 277 outside), including 31 junior suites and 12 executive suites (most with private balconies).
The newly refitted Celestyal Nefeli was commissioned in order to replace Celestyal Odyssey when her charter ends in October. The Nefeli will join Celestyal Olympia and Celestyal Crystal in their Eastern Mediterranean service.
For next year, Celestyal Cruises will increase the number of themed events added to its itineraries. The focus will be set on Greek and Turkish history, culture and cuisine.
