Carnival launches ‘Fly2Fun’ air program

Carnival Cruise Line launched a new air program, designed to provide passengers with maximum choice, convenience and value when making air arrangements in connection with their cruise.

The Fly2Fun program is quite flexible as it allows customizing air reservations with an array of different options, including the opportunity to specify the preferred departure point, specific flight schedule, air carrier and type of accommodation. The confirmation is received right after the reservation is made. Flights can be customized for guests who wish to extend their journey with a pre- or post-cruise stay.

Carnival's Fly2Fun includes the program "Flight Protection", which ensures vacationers will be flown to the next call port to begin their voyage should they miss the departure due to weather-related or airline mechanical issues. Carnival will cover all air, transportation, meal and hotel costs for passengers to meet the cruise ship in the next port.

Two options are available within the air program - Restricted Air and Flexible Air. With Flexible Air, Carnival guests or their travel agents can book travel up to 4 days prior to sailing with the feature “Book Now-Pay Later”, in which air payment is collected together with the final payment for the cruise. There are no fees if changes are made outside of 60 days of departure.

With Restricted Air, tickets are non-refundable and must be paid at the time of booking. Change fees are based on the policies of the airlines, once the tickets are issued.

Fly2Fun air program must be booked via phone. After a cruise reservation is done, guests can call "1-800-CARNIVAL" to make their air reservation.
