Liberty of the Seas Arrives in Galveston

Liberty of the Seas arrived at the Port of Galveston on Friday. The Freedom-class Royal Caribbean ship replaced Navigator of the Seas on year-round sailings out of Galveston offering Texas travelers roundtrip 7-night Western Caribbean voyages throughout the year.

“The repositioning of Liberty of the Seas to the Port of Galveston represents Royal Caribbean’s confidence in the Port of Galveston’s efficient cruise  operations and ability to attract passengers on its Freedom class ships,” said Port Director, Mike Mierzwa. “We are excited to homeport the largest cruise ship to sail from the State of Texas”.


Liberty of the Seas will feature 7-night Western Caribbean itineraries, including Belize City Belize; Isla Roatan, Honduras; Cozumel, Mexico; Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands; Falmouth, Jamaica; Costa Maya, Mexico and Montego Bay, Jamaica as ports of call.
