Seabourn Cruise Line has opened for sale maiden season for the new Seabourn Encore. Between December 2016 and April 2017, she will sail from Europe to Asia and the Far East.

According to Seabourn President Richard Meadows, they were excited to offer a diverse range of itineraries and provide their guests with the opportunity to visit some of the most “sought-after destinations” in Asia, Australia and New Zealand on the newest and most beautiful ultra-luxury ship in the world. Meadows added, Seabourn Encore would set a new standard of ultra-luxury cruising, only found on Seabourn.

Following the delivery of Seabourn Encore in December 2016, the ship will offer two pre-inaugural voyages, providing guests with a preview of the Encore before her official maiden voyage.

Seabourn Encore will set sail on a 16-day pre-inaugural cruise on December 4, 2016, bound for Dubai from Athens, visiting ports including Petra, Jordan; Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, Israel; and Muscat, Oman. The Dubai cruise will be followed by an 18-day holiday voyage, departing December 20, to Arabia, India and Southeast Asia.

The official debut and naming ceremony of Seabourn Encore will take place in Singapore on January 7, 2017. The ship will then embark on her 10-day official inaugural cruise to Bali, with stops in Surabaya, Java; Slawi Bay, Komodo, Indonesia; and Celukan Bawang, Bali.

Seabourn Encore will be the newest ship ever to visit Australia, scheduled to spend two months in local waters. During her maiden season, she will operate a series of 16-day sailings cruising the Pacific Rim.

In April 2017, Seabourn Encore will return to Europe after two Arabia and India cruises. The ship will spend 2017 summer in the eastern Mediterranean.

A sister ship, Seabourn Ovation, joins the fleet in 2018.
