The routes for 2018 start in January, with both vessels simultaneously arriving in Australia (Sydney) on February 17. The meeting will allow an opportunity to combine the itineraries, as guests can switch ships.
Ranging from 97 to 129 days, Crystal’s innovative World Cruises will travel to 111 destinations in 45 countries, with 50 overnights and 16 maiden calls. During the ship's Sydney rendezvous, full World Cruise passengers will be treated to a grand gala celebration.
Crystal's World Cruise 2018 collection includes the first full World Cruise of Crystal Symphony since 2003, the 15th global expedition of Crystal Serenity and the chance to begin on Crystal Symphony and then switch to the Serenity in Sydney for a voyage through Asia, India, and the Holy Land, or board Crystal Serenity before joining the Symphony in Sydney for a South Pacific crossing en route to Miami.

- January 7 - April 30, from Cape Town to Miami, 114-day sailing on board Crystal Symphony, covering much of the Southern Hemisphere (South Africa, Australia and New Zealand, South Pacific and French Polynesia, the Caribbean). There are 6 maiden calls including: Esperance, Bunbury and Geraldton in Australia, Fakarava in French Polynesia, Burnie in Tasmania, and Robinson Crusoe Island in Chile.
- January 23 - May 16, from Los Angeles to Rome, Crystal Serenity’s 112-day exploration of Australia, South Pacific, Indonesia, India, Southeast Asia, Dubai and the Mediterranean. The voyage is highlighted by overnights and maiden calls in Manila and Mumbai. Other overnights include Muscat, Dubai and Safaga.
- January 7 - May 16, from Cape Town to Rome, aboard the longest duration of all itineraries with 129-days, passengers set sail on the first part of World Cruise segments of Crystal Symphony from South Africa to Australia before continuing the adventure aboard the Serenity on a voyage bound for India, Asia, Egypt, Holy Land and Italy.
- January 23 - April 30, from Los Angeles to Miami, following 24-day navigating the islands of Fiji, Hawaii and other exotic destinations aboard Crystal Serenity, passengers can join the Symphony for West to East coast cruise. The full 97-day voyage will travel through Milford Sound, French Polynesia, Easter Island and Panama Canal.
