Seabourn Sojourn delays her today (December 6) sailing from Singapore because of unscheduled maintenance.

In a note sent to passengers, the luxury line said the maintenance would take 36 hours, causing the ship to leave at 8 p.m. Monday, December 7, instead of 4 p.m. December 6. The unexpected overnight in Singapore means the ship will be skipping a call at Georgetown in Penang, Malaysia.

The ship will host a special evening event December 6 that will show passengers the "culture and artistry" of Singapore. In addition, passengers will be given a free excursion December 7 in Singapore; options will be available to book once the cruisers board. Complimentary round trip shuttle service will be available throughout the day.

In addition, shore excursions booked through the ship in Penang will be refunded, along with taxes, fees and port expenses.
