Camaret-sur-Mer (Kameled) is a commune in the Finistere department, northwestern France. It is situated at the end of the Crozon peninsula. Camaret-sur-Mer is the home to Tour Vauban or Tour doree ("Golden Tower"), historic fortification that guards the harbor, built in 1669-1694. In 2008, Tour doree was listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site, part of the group "Fortifications of Vauban". Camaret-sur-Mer is home to a marina and some beautiful beaches. Its inhabitants are called Camaretois.
