Almost the entire region is under the jurisdiction of Chao Mai National Park.
Koh Kradan is the most beautiful island, the jewel in Trang's archipelago which is why it was chosen for annual underwater wedding ceremony that has been held around valentines day since 1997. In an area of 600 acres, under the jurisdiction of Chao Mai National Park, which has kept it under developed since 1981, keeping Koh Kradan one of the islands that stayed unchanged, there are only five resorts that cover the island.
