Semidi Islands are located in the Gulf of Alaska, southwest of Kodiak Island, and halfway between Chirikof Island and mainland Alaska (Alaska Peninsula).
- The two largest isles are named Aghiyuk (north) and Chowiet (south).
- Semidi Islands' total area is 30,2 km2 (11,7 ml2) and are all uninhabited.
- Semidi Islands and Trinity Islands (separated from Kodiak by the Sitkinak Strait) both administratively belong to the Kodiak Island Borough. The Borough has a total area of 12022 ml2 (31137 km2), of which land area 6550 ml2 (16964 km2) and marine area 5472 ml2 (14172 km2), and total population of around 14,000.
