Zell-Mosel is a Moselle River cruise port and town in Germany's Rhineland-Palatinate state (Cochem-Zell district) with population around 4,000. The town is located 1 hour’s drive distance (70 km / 44 mi) from both Trier (to the southwest via A1-B49) and Koblenz (to the northeast via B327). The closest town towards Koblenz is Cochem, and the closest towns towards Trier are Bernkastel-Kues and Traben-Trarbach.

The spa town Bad Bertrich (in Voreifel) and Frankfurt-Hahn Airport are both located ath30-min drive distance. On river's right bank is Altstadt (Old Town) and Stadtteil of Merl. Zell-Mosel's town hall houses the local history museum with exhibits from town's history, traditional crafts and winegrowing. The surrounding the town area includes 331 hectares of planted vineyards, ranking it Mosel's biggest winegrowing centre - after Piesport (413 hectares).
