MS Monarch Countess cabins review

Approx 85% of all Avalon Felicity (Monarch Countess) cabins are French Balcony. Each of these outside staterooms has two floor-ceiling sliding glass doors opening to a “Juliet” (balconet, aka "false balcony"). The number of all cabin categories is 5 (max capacity 2 guests per cabin). Cheapest cabins are located on deck 1. Each of those has two fixed (non-opening) windows located near the ceiling. The riverboat has no handicap (wheelchair-accessible) cabins for disabled passengers.

  • Hotel beds (“Comfort Collection” twin beds convertible to queen, size 200 x 160 cm, deluxe bedding, duvets, Egyptian cotton linens, mattresses with memory foam toppers, extra blankets, soft/firm pillows, bathrobes, slippers, 3-door closet, ample under beds storage space, bedside tables with lamps, individual climate control, 220V voltage outlets (2-pin plugs), soundproof separation walls.
