Review of SS La Venezia deck 3 (Murano)

The fore-located Hari's Bar Lounge is the boat's main lounge with a dance floor and evening program with live entertainment (music by resident duo pianist/singer) and local guests' performances. Hari's Lounge also hosts the Uniworld's onboard enrichment program, which includes cooking demonstrations, guest lectures (themed food and wine, art and music, culture, architecture, etc), crew show, port talks. A traditional pre-dinner event here is the Cruise Director’s talks providing information and tips on the next-day scheduled shore excursions (guided and complimentary provided by Uniworld) and optional tours (cost extra).

Midship-starboard is located the Captain’s Club. The small room doubles as Library and has 3 tables, a collection of books, popular board games, playing cards. The Lobby area has the ship’s Reception Desk providing 24-hour assistance, information on the daily program’s scheduled activities, Sauna/Spa reservations, and also serves the Uniworld cruise shore excursions and onboard booking programs. Guests can find here the SS La Venezia's Cruise Director. The Lobby has a small seating area with sofas.

The aft-located Ristorante Rialto is the ship’s open-seating Dining Room Restaurant with floor-ceiling windows, single-seating capacity, classic European, and also regional/Italian daily specialties. Ristorante Rialto is waiter-served and operates with fixed dining times depending on the daily scheduled activities. Tables as capacity are 2-, 4-, 6-, 8- and 10-seat. Breakfast (7-9 am) is buffet-style (a large station is located in the middle) with cereals, a selection of bread, cheeses, cold meats, fruits, yoghurt, smoothies, sausage. There is a designated chef for made-to-order eggs, omelettes and other dishes ordered separately (at no extra charge). Lunch (12:30 – 2 pm) includes soup station, carvery, salads bar, hot dishes, pasta and sandwiches, desserts, with local delicacies also provided. Dinners (7-7:30 pm /starting after the Main Lounge’s cocktail hour) are waiter-served (until 9 pm). The 4-course dinner menu has several starters, 2 soups, 3 entrees (fish, meat, vegetarian), desserts, cheese plates. At dinner, the complimentary wines are itinerary-based (reflecting the sailing region), and steaks and chicken are always offered on request. At breakfast and lunch, a la carte menu is also provided.

The dining room also hosts the ship’s formal events Captain’s Welcome Dinner and Farewell Dinner. On those, the dress code is elegant casual – jacket and tie (men), cocktail attire (women).
