Bakkagerdi is a small village (population around 100) part of Iceland's Borgarfjardarhreppur municipality. The hamlet is located on the coast of Borgarfjordur Eystri - a fjord best-known among tourists for its jagged mountains, hiking routes and a scenic road looping around the cliffs.
