Brac Island is the biggest of the central Dalmatian Islands group and the 3rd largest in the Adriatic Sea. The Island is separated from mainland Croatia by the Brac Channel and from Hvar island by the Hvar Channel. Its highest elevation peak is Vidova Gora (778 m / 2552 ft), ranking it also the highest of all Croatian islands. The largest villages on Brac Island are Supetar and Pucisca but there are plenty of other villages, beaches and resorts.
