Briare is a Loire River cruise port and town in France's Centre-Val de Loire region (Loiret department) with population around 6,000.

Founded by the Romans (as Brivodorum), the town is located on Canal de Briare connecting the rivers Loire and Seine. One of the canal's best-known features is the 662 m (2172 ft) long Briare Aqueduct. Briare Canal's total length is 57 km (35 mi) and has a total of 36 canal locks. Briare Canal is part of the Bourbonnais (inland waterway) route consisting of four canals - Canal du Loing, Canal de Briare, Loire Lateral Canal, Canal du Centre. The system starts from Saint-Mammes (Seine River) and ends in Chalon-sur-Saone (Saone River).

As cruise port, Briare is included in the regular schedule of the CroisiEurope-owned hotel barge Deborah. The 2016-built boat is owned by one of Europe's largest river cruise companies and operates the following 6-day itinerary between homeports Briare and Nevers.
