Dark Island (New York) is on the Saint Lawrence Seaway, near Chippewa Bay. The island is part of the Town of Hammond, and is located very close to the USA-Canada border (running along the St Lawrence River).
"The Towers" (aka "Dark Island Castle", recently renamed to "Singer Castle") is the island's historic landmark. The castle was the last of several "castle" projects built at the Thousand Islands during the period 1888–1905. Its owner was Frederick Gilbert Bourne, president of Singer Manufacturing Company (now "Singer Corporation"), producing the famous Singer Sewing Machine. Upon the death of his daughter Marjorie, the castle was sold to the Christian Brothers (Roman Catholic religious teaching congregation). Christian Brothers sold the island in 1965 to Harold Martin Evangelistic Association (charitable organization).
The Dark Island cruise port map is interactive. It shows the port's exact location, along with the real-time cruise ship traffic (if any) in its vicinity - today, and right now. By zooming-out you can see other cruise ship ports located near Dark Island, New York.
