Port Stanley is currently the Falklands' main shopping center, as well as East Falkland's road network hub. Attractions include Falkland Islands Museum, Government House (1845; home to the Governor of Falkland Islands), a golf course, whalebone arch, totem pole, war memorials and shipwrecks in the harbour. The Falkland Islands Company owns a hotel and several shops. Stanley has 11 hotels and guesthouses, 4 pubs, 3 restaurants, main tourist office, fish and chip shop. There are 3 churches, including Anglican Christ Church Cathedral, which is the world's southernmost Anglican cathedral, and the Roman Catholic Saint Mary's Church.
