Saint-Leger-sur-Dheune is a Dheune River (Saone River) cruise port and town in eastern France (Bourgogne region, Saone-et-Loire department) with population around 1,500. Dheune River is a 67 km (42 ml) long waterway through France's Bourgogne-Franche-Comte region (Cote-d'Or and Saone-et-Loire departments) and flows into Saone River at Allerey-sur-Saone.

The town is best known for the welcoming of Emperor Napoléon Bonaparte (1769-1821) on April 5, 1805, who visited the small village en-route to Milano Italy. Here, in the afternoon he was greeted with three detonations by the newly-developed by Fonderies du Creusot canons. The local economy was based on agriculture, wine production, gypsum (quarrying) and coal mining.

St-Leger-sur-Dheune became a town in the early-19th-century, after the widening of Canal du Center (1793) and the opening of the railway link Nevers-Chagny. Town's current-day economy is based on tourism, and river shipping (trade and boating on Canal du Center).

As cruise port, St-Leger-sur-Dheune is included in the schedule of the luxury hotel-barge Daniele (2016-built ship) owned by CroisiEurope - one of world's largest river cruise companies. Next table shows ship's 7-day "Burgundy River Adventure" itinerary (the southbound route roundtrip from homeport Dijon).
