Avoid 7108 Sunset Suite - a Big Disappointment
We hadn't sailed with Celebrity for quite a while but were keen to get a holiday booked after COVID. Our usual Celebrity Suite wasn't available so we "upgraded" to a Sunset Suite 7108. This was a big mistake! These suites are poor value for money. They are way up in the front of the ship under the bridge so are remote from elevators and the other suites. The main problem is the noise. Whenever the ship docks there is a couple of hours of horrendous mechanical noises from the docking gear immediately below this part of the suite. This can be in the early hours and we had some very disturbed sleep. Not a good way to relax on holiday. The balcony is tiny and 2 people struggle to find room and the view is restricted. There is reduced headroom in the lounge and the bedroom because of the sloping wall. This cabin should not be classified as a Retreat class suite. The remainder of the cruise was pretty much Celebrity's usual standard but we enjoyed the "all Inclusive" feel with the premium drinks package, gratuities and Wi-fi included. We did make our feelings known while we were on on board and agreed an appropriate Future Cruise refund.
