Not a luxury cruise
As a previous Pandaw passenger this was a most disappointing experience. Of most concern was the food. Do not join this cruise if you do not like spices and curries, there are no alternatives. The breakfasts were appalling. The egg chef could cook omelettes but nothing else, there was no bacon. The breads and pastries inedible. Between meals there were no snacks available so many went hungry. As to service this too was poor. English skills among the crew were poor to none. The Captain was never seen except at introduction and farewell. He was notable for raising and dropping anchor during sleeping hours. Shore excursions by small boat were a dangerous experience. We have written to Pandaw explaining our unhappiness but as yet have had no reply.
