Greg Mortimer cabins review

Below is a review of Greg Mortimer cruise ship cabins, focusing on amenities, furnishings, and included (complimentary) services:

  • All staterooms are outside, featuring either a step-out balcony, French balcony, or porthole windows.
  • Most staterooms (80% of all, excluding the Aurora cabins with portholes on Deck 3) have a private step-out balcony accessible from the living area through sliding floor-to-ceiling glass doors. Each balcony is furnished with a small table and two deck chairs. Sixty percent of all cabins can be booked for triple occupancy, accommodating a third guest on a pull-out couch/sofabed.
  • Standard in-room amenities include hotel beds (king-size or two twins, 200 x 160 cm, with ample under-bed storage for suitcases), a sofabed, bedside cabinets, a mirrored vanity (writing desk/dressing table) with chair, built-in dressers with drawers, a mini-bar/refrigerator, a 42-inch smart HDTV (local and satellite reception), a phone (shipboard communication only), digital clock/alarm, seating area (small table with one or two armchairs), a spacious wardrobe (closet with hangers, drawers, and electronic safe), individual climate control, and a medical emergency button.
  • Each stateroom has a private full-size bathroom with shower and WC, hairdryer, and premium bath amenities.
  • The ship’s suites are available in three categories: CS (Captain’s Suite), JS (Junior Suite), and BS (Balcony Suite). These are the largest accommodations, with double-size balconies and additional perks such as in-room dining service (continental breakfast served on the balcony).

Greg Mortimer features 20 pairs of connecting Balcony cabins that can be combined into one stateroom for up to six guests—ideal for families. The ship does not have wheelchair-accessible cabins for passengers with disabilities.
