A 55-year-old woman was rescued from a Royal Caribbean cruise ship late Thursday night off Miami Beach.

Miami Fire Rescue dispatched their fireboat to rescue the passenger. Royal Caribbean's Navigator of the Seas cruise ship was just about 4 miles off Miami Beach when the woman was experiencing a medical condition that required an immediate removal off the ship.

The woman, who is from North Carolina, was taken to Bayside Marina, where paramedics took her to a nearby hospital.

"This is one boat ride I will never forget,"

she said when she took a picture with her rescuers, according to Miami Fire Rescue.
