P&O Cruises Sails to Melbourne for State of Origin 2018

P&O Cruises announced it will sail to Melbourne for 2018 opening State of Origin blockbuster as part of the line-up of voyages to major Australian sporting events.

The first game of 2018 Holden State of Origin series is to be played to a sell-out crowd at the well known Melbourne Cricket Ground in June next year.

Rugby league fans are urged to secure their ticket to the largest sporting event in Australia on a special 4-night roundtrip sailing from Sydney to Melbourne that includes footy-themed entertainment aboard the ship, tickets, transfers to the game and cruising with league legends.

The latest ship in P&O’s fleet, Pacific Explorer, will transport over 2,000 NRL enthusiasts, providing the largest single injection of interstate fans into Victoria for the greatest rivalry of Australia.  

Fares for the 4-night State of Origin 2018 roundtrip cruise start from $624 quad share. The departure is scheduled for June 4 from Sydney, arriving in Melbourne June 6 and returning to Sydney June 8.
