Of all Costa Mediterranea cabins, 64% feature a private balcony. Wheelchair-accessible cabins number 8, and there are 56 connecting rooms. Mediterranea's decks with passenger cabins include a total of 58 Suites, 660 Balcony cabins, 167 Oceanview cabins, and 212 Inside cabins (no Single cabins). All Costa Mediterranea cabins feature the following amenities: a sleeping area (twin beds, convertible to queen, with bedside tables and lamps), a lounge/living area (seating, vanity, desk, closet with drawers), smart HDTV (infotainment system, satellite reception), direct-dial phone, electronic safe (in the closet), hairdryer, ensuite bathroom (WC-toilet, shower cubicle, LED-light mirror, single-sink vanity with under-storage), mini-bar/fridge, individual air-conditioning, complimentary 24-hour room service, and complimentary in-room Continental breakfast. Most cabins and all suites are equipped with single/double sofabeds or Pullman/bunk beds for a 3rd/4th person.

All balcony cabins feature a private step-out veranda with sliding glass doors and furniture (small table, 2 patio chairs). Oceanview cabins have large-size Picture Windows (non-opening, round-shaped). Inside cabins lack windows. Both cabin types feature additional bedding (upper/Pullman beds) for a 3rd/4th person.
