Deck layout and review

Review of Margaritaville Paradise deck 8 (Abacos-Dining-Lounge)
Abacos Deck is the ship's dining deck.
Forward is the Stars on the Water Theater (2-deck show lounge/lower level 1 of 2). It is the ship’s principal live performance venue where evening theatrical productions, musical shows and comedy performances are staged as part of the onboard entertainment program included in the cruise fare. It is a two‑level theater designed to accommodate a range of live entertainment, including the ship’s signature production shows, and is supported by lighting, sound and seating configured for audience viewing. The theater area also includes an adjacent bar/lounge space where guests can purchase drinks before or after performances, and shows are scheduled according to the ship’s daily entertainment itinerary.
Hemisphere Dancer (Craft Spirits) is an indoor cocktail lounge and bar space introduced during the ship’s recent updates as part of the expanded beverage program. It is themed as a cozy, leather‑bound piano lounge where guests can order craft cocktails and specialty drinks with a focus on carefully prepared mixed beverages, including signature options like the “Mile High” featuring Woodford Reserve bourbon and other ingredients with a smoked presentation. The venue functions as an adult‑oriented indoor bar separate from poolside venues, offering a quieter, sit‑down environment for evening drinks and socializing
Midship are located the Fins City Arcade, Future Cruise Desk, as well as the Compass Rose Conference Center (80-seat meeting room that can be booked for private and group events).
Fins City Arcade is a public game and entertainment space featuring a variety of electronic arcade games and simulators that are accessible to guests for individual play, providing an indoor recreation option separate from poolside and outdoor activities, with machines that typically operate on a pay‑per‑play basis.
The Future Cruise Desk is a service point located among the ship’s guest services or reception area where passengers can speak with a representative about booking subsequent cruises with Margaritaville at Sea or other cruise options, often used to take advantage of onboard booking incentives and promotions (this type of desk is typically found adjacent to guest services areas though specific details for this ship’s layout are based on general cruise practice and the presence of guest services areas identified on similar deck plans).
The Compass Rose Conference Center is a dedicated meeting and event venue with flexible rooms equipped for business gatherings, corporate meetings or private events; it includes audiovisual technology, Wi‑Fi and configurable seating to support group presentations, meetings or other organized functions separate from the ship’s casual entertainment and leisure spaces.
Parakeets Kid's Club is the supervised children’s program space intended for boys and girls in the older kids age group, generally around 7 to 12 years old, where trained youth staff lead age‑appropriate activities included with the cruise fare during standard hours. The club provides a dedicated environment with structured entertainment such as games, arts and crafts, interactive group activities and themed events designed to keep children engaged while parents use other ship facilities; typical kids club operating times are daily in the afternoon and early evening with optional “after hours” care available at an additional charge. It is part of the ship’s overall family programming on board, alongside other kids and teen spaces.
The midship Euphoria Lounge offers plenty of comfortable seating, live music performances, and premium drinks. A central stairway connects to the above deck (Paradise Deck). Euphoria is a central bar and social venue positioned in the heart of the ship’s public spaces that functions as a day‑to‑night entertainment and gathering area where guests can purchase drinks and participate in scheduled activities. The space hosts a rotating lineup of live entertainment including live music, trivia, adult game shows, karaoke and themed events along with social programming that aligns with the ship’s daily schedule, making it a focal point for onboard interaction beyond formal dining and theater shows. As part of the ship’s recent drydock upgrades, the Euphoria Lounge underwent a substantial interior refresh with new carpets, upholstery, wall coverings and lighting to modernize and revitalize the venue, and it continues to operate as a key indoor lounge where passengers can socialize, enjoy cocktails and engage in interactive entertainment throughout the cruise.
JWB Prime Steakhouse is a specialty, upscale dining venue that operates as an optional extra and is not included in the base cruise fare. Named after James William “Jimmy” Buffett, it offers a refined steakhouse experience combining casual elegance with high‑quality ingredients and chef‑crafted dishes. The menu typically features a selection of premium steaks such as filet and ribeye, seafood dishes, appetizers like lobster bisque and steak tartare, soups and salads, table sides, and desserts, with wine and cocktails available for purchase separately. The restaurant’s setting is designed to be a more formal dining environment compared with the ship’s complimentary dining options, and reservations are generally recommended due to its popularity; specialty dining packages offered by the cruise line may include a dinner at JWB Prime Steakhouse as part of a bundled experience.
Fins Dining is the ship’s main dining room and complimentary sit‑down restaurant included in the cruise fare, positioned toward the aft of the deck among the primary dining venues. It serves island‑inspired and Caribbean‑influenced dishes such as signature entrees including shrimp and grits, jambalaya and other freshly prepared meals across breakfast and dinner service, with menus that rotate daily and are designed to reflect the Margaritaville theme while providing a full sit‑down dining experience. The space provides table service in a dedicated dining room setting with nautical décor and ocean views, and alcoholic beverages and some premium menu items are available at additional cost, separate from the fare. Fins Dining functions as the principal formal dining option on Deck 8 alongside specialty restaurants available for an extra charge.
Abacos Deck is accessed via 8x passenger elevators plus staircases (forward and aft).
