On February 7, 2014, a 76-year-old male passenger was murdered ashore (on Margarita island, Venezuela), while the ship was docked in call port El Guamache.
The elderly man (Goldhahm Hors Kurt, of German origin) was shot dead by a gunman during armed robbery in a shopping mall, when two armed men on a motorcycle tried to rob the cruise ship tourists.
