Review of Nautica deck 5

  • “Nautica Lounge” is the ship’s theater and main show lounge. It has Stage for the live evening entertainment and a large dance floor. The lounge offers as activities daily trivia games, guest lectures, presentations, themed dance parties, social events, comedy acts, magician shows, classical music and jazz performances.
  • The Casino (portside, age limit 18yo) is served by its own bar. Bets are in USD, the daily limit is $1000 pp. The Casino has gambling tables (blackjack, poker, roulette, operational hours 2-5:30pm) and slots (open 8:30pm till closing).
  • The “Martinis”piano bar has a resident pianist, a huge Martini selection (30+ brands) and hosts martini tastings.
  • The Nautica’s two duty-free Boutiques sell brand jewelry and perfumes, Oceania-logo merchandise, gifts and souvenirs, clothing, convenience goods.
  • The “Upper Hall” lounge has a grand piano and is served by the Martinis Bar.
  • The “Grand Bar” (starboard, next to the Nautica dining room) is a fine wine bar and hosts wine tastings in the evenings (with sommelier service). The Grand Bar  has an extensive wine list (wines by the glass), and since the Nautica’s refurbishment in 2014, this area is also served by Baristas. Dedicated staff makes complimentary illy beverages (espresso, cappuccino, latte) and serves fresh baked pastries and biscotti, also finger sandwiches.
  • The “Grand Dining Room” is a complimentary restaurant with open seating Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Menus are changed each day, the cuisine is French-inspired. The Nautica dining room restaurant features high-quality linens, china, crystal and silverware, and has a frescoed dome-ceiling.
