Disney Dream Hits Pier at Port Nassau

   October 1, 2017 ,   Accidents

A Disney Cruise Line's ship hit a pier as it was docking Saturday morning, September 30, in Nassau.

The stern of Disney Dream hit a block of the pier. Previously, the ship had to make changes to Caribbean cruises due to Hurricane Irma.

A bystander remarked that Goofy must have been steering the vessel.

Disney Dream was back into the dock when the accident took place. There are no reports of injuries and the damage looks to be only above the water line.

The ship was in the middle of a 3-night sailing and is expected to stop at Disney’s private island Castaway Cay today.

Repairs could be possibly made in the course of normal operations. Online reports showed they’d already made some repairs at Nassau.
