National Geographic Islander 2 cabins review

All National Geographic Islander II staterooms (26 total) are Suite categories and are Outside cabins with large, non-opening windows. Standard/complimentary amenities include King-size beds (convertible to twins), sofabeds, marble bathrooms (with double-sink vanities), spacious wardrobes, fully stocked minibars, HDTVs, USB ports, and Wi-Fi. Each of the Islander Suites (4 cabins) features four windows, a separate living room and bedroom, and a larger bathroom with a bathtub and rain shower. Four dedicated solo cabins are designed for single travelers (available with no single supplement). Some staterooms accommodate triple occupancy. The largest accommodation, the Santa Cruz Islander Suite, is a family cabin that can be connected to an adjacent double cabin for quad occupancy.

Nat Geo Islander II does not have any handicap-accessible (wheelchair-adapted) cabins for disabled passengers.

Of all Crystal Esprit cabins, six were connecting (pairs 301-303, 302-306, 205-207). The total number of cabin categories was five, with a maximum occupancy of three guests per cabin.

Crystal Yacht Cruises provided, in all staterooms regardless of category, a comprehensive list of standard amenities and services: butler service (gratuities included, with shoeshine, unpacking, and laundry/pressing/dry-cleaning), welcome gifts (Champagne), luxury dining sets (China, crystal), minibar beverages (soft drinks, beer, bottled water), deluxe bedding (Scandinavian duvets, pillow menu), built-in spacious closets, custom carpets, lounge/seating areas, UHD TVs (satellite channels, on-demand movies, infotainment/Internet, live cam views), refrigerators/minibars, alarm clocks, phones, electronic safes (drawer-mounted), luxury hairdryers, plush robes, Egyptian cotton towels, premium bath amenities (ETRO-branded robes, slippers, shower caps, toiletries/shampoo, body lotion, conditioner, bath salts), hand-crafted artworks, laptop data ports, USB ports, and 110V/220V outlets.

The OWNER’S SUITE (Deck 2 “Seabreeze”) features a separate bedroom (queen bed, wood-fabric headboard, upholstered bench, bedside tables with lamps, concealed lighting, side table with chair, TV), a separate living room (sofabed, two chairs, two end tables, TV, interactive iPad, vanity desk), walk-in closet (with integrated lighting), luxury bathroom (double vanity, back-lit mirror, TV, full-size whirlpool bathtub, separate shower, Toto toilet, stone flooring), and a dining room (wet bar, mini-fridge, four-seat dining table with pendant lighting). A threshold visually separates the living and dining areas.

YACHT SUITES have Queen-size beds (convertible to twins), and a third bed is available upon request.
