Fred Olsen Balmoral cabins and suites

Follows the review of MS Balmoral staterooms by amenities, furniture, and complimentary services:

Premier Suites, Marquee Suites, and Superior Suites each feature a sitting room (with sofas and chairs), a separate bedroom with double bed, a private balcony, a mini-bar and fridge, and an additional entertainment area (CD/DVD player, dining table, chairs, and sideboard with complimentary liquors). Balcony sizes vary between 54 and 323 ft² (5–30 m²). Some suites also have walk-in closets.

Balcony Junior Suites and Single Balcony Suites each offer a bedroom with a separate sitting area, private balcony, mini-bar, and fridge. Some Single Balcony Suites have two beds but are still sold as Single Suites. Balcony stateroom verandas range in size from 180 to 190 ft² (17–18 m²).

Superior Outside Cabins have one picture window and include a seating area with a sofa bed. Some are adapted for disabled guests (located on Lido Deck 8). All Balcony Cabins feature a private veranda.

Outside Cabins are available in two types: with Picture Window or with Porthole Window (on Marina Deck 3). Superior Inside Cabins on Bridge Deck 9 are fully equipped for disabled passengers. Superior Outside Single Cabins have a Picture Window, with some offering a small balcony (on Lido Deck 8). Single Outside Cabins have a Porthole Window. Category K cabins contain two beds but are still sold as Single Cabins.

All MS Balmoral cabins include an en-suite bathroom (WC, sink, bath/shower), large wardrobes with ample drawer space, and a dressing table. Beds can be arranged as twins or doubles. Standard amenities include an interactive smart HDTV, safe, direct-dial phone, individual air-conditioning, pool towels, hair dryer, and bathroom liquid soap dispensers. Toiletry bags are available on request (free of charge) and contain a shower cap, soap, body lotion, shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, sewing kit, and shoe cleaner. The interactive TV system allows guests to book Balmoral shore excursions, watch port talks, and view on-demand movies.

All cabin balconies are furnished with a metal-glass table, plastic webbed upholstered chairs, and metal sun loungers. Wheelchair-accessible cabins (numbers 8057, 8059, 8073, 8075, 8084, 8086, 9048, 9056, 9095) feature wider entry doors, a spacious living area, a larger bathroom, and a walk-in closet.

MS Balmoral offers a total of 64 solo cabins (single-occupancy rooms).

Complimentary room service is available from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. (except on embarkation and disembarkation days). The room service menu includes soups, cold main dishes, sandwiches, burgers, pasta, desserts, pastries, tea/coffee, fruit juices, milk, alcoholic and soft drinks, special occasion canapés, party platters, and in-room continental breakfast (7–9 a.m.).
