MV Magellan Discoverer (2026-built) is a polar-class expedition vessel owned and operated by the Chilean Antarctica Air Cruise company Antarctica21 (formerly Antarctica XXI). The ship was built by ASENAV, and her sistership is Magellan Explorer (2019).
The Magellan Discoverer deck plan includes a total of 50 passenger cabins, a crew deck (with expedition gear storage and a Mudroom), a Clinic (Infirmary with a resident doctor), a Dining Room Restaurant with Bar, a Lobby area (Reception and Gift Shop), a Tour Office (Expedition Leader and Cruise Director), a Bar Lounge, Library, Meeting Room, Gym, Sauna Room, two bow-facing outdoor observation decks for wildlife viewing, and a BBQ area.
The Observation Deck also houses two tenders/lifeboats and the full fleet of 10 Zodiacs (large-capacity inflatable speedboats) used for landings and for tendering passengers ashore.
