Deck layout and review

Review of Tauck MS Reverie deck 3 (Diamond-Cabins-Lobby-Lounge-Bistro-Wellness)

The fore-located (at the bow) Terrace on Deck 3 is a small outdoor lounge with limited seating (several round tables and chairs). Two external staircases provide direct access to the Sundeck from the Bow Terrace.

Arthur's (forward) is an open-seating dining venue named after Arthur Tauck Jr (second-generation leader of the company). Arthur's Restaurant offers a light breakfast and serves as an alternative dining venue for lunch and dinner. Arthur's is less formal in comparison to the Compass Rose (dining room).

The Panorama Lounge & Bar is an indoor lounge with floor-to-ceiling windows, comfortable seating, a grand piano, a 24-hour beverage station for complimentary beverages (tea/coffee, mineral, and carbonated water) and light snacks (biscuits, pastries). Panorama Lounge's evening entertainment program features live performances by guest entertainers (local musicians and dancers boarding the ship, a resident pianist), talent shows (by the crew), and night dancing parties. The Lounge also supports Tauck River Cruises' enrichment program by hosting daily lectures, media presentations, and port talks (by the boat's Tauck Cruise Director) related to the cruise tour itinerary (ports and excursions offered ashore).

In the Lobby Hall (midship, between Panorama Lounge and the Suites) are both ship entrances (portside and starboard embarkation/debarkation areas), the Reception (24-hour Guest Services Desk providing assistance, cashier services, information on daily scheduled tours and onboard activities), Cruise Director's Office, and a small Shop (selling hand-made souvenirs, occasion gifts, travel essentials). The Reception Desk also serves Tauck's excursions/tours and future cruise booking programs.

The Retreat (aft) is the ship's wellness complex, consisting of a Gym (Fitness Center), a Spa (treatment room for massages), and a Relaxation Lounge & Bar (serving complimentary snacks and beverages/coffee, tea, juices). The entire wellness area has floor-to-ceiling windows for unobstructed views of the scenery.

Staircases and an elevator interconnect all cabin decks.

Cruise cabins from 301 to 322, all of which are Diamond Deck French Balcony staterooms fitted with slide-opening French Balconies (floor-ceiling windows that open to a railing). These cabins are in Category 4 (French Balcony/aft) and Category 5 (Suites).
