Viking Cruises has officially opened reservations for its 2027–2028 ocean and expedition itineraries, with voyages scheduled across all seven continents.

The expanded program includes a range of new routes and the introduction of Viking Lyra, a new ocean ship set to join the fleet in 2028. Lyra will operate its maiden season in Mediterranean and Scandinavian waters.

Among the newly introduced itineraries is a 15-day Antarctic expedition titled “Into the Antarctic Circle,” which will cross the 66°33′ south latitude, offering guests an opportunity to explore beyond the Antarctic Circle.

Viking's 2027–2028 program also includes destinations throughout South America, Scandinavia, Australia, New Zealand, the British Isles, the Great Lakes, Alaska, the Panama Canal, the Mediterranean, and Iceland. These offerings reflect the company's commitment to immersive travel experiences that focus on historical, cultural, and natural exploration.

In conjunction with the launch, Viking is running a promotional campaign valid through August 31st, offering reduced fares on inclusive itineraries, up to complimentary international airfare, and a US$25 deposit for North American travellers.

The brand continues to position itself toward guests seeking in-depth engagement with destinations through carefully curated voyages.
