Saga Cruises confirmed plans to extend its fleet with a 2nd new ship. Spirit of Adventure is due to be delivered in Summer 2020. The vessel will join Spirit of Discovery which sets sail in July 2019.
Both ships will be constructed by Meyer Werft shipyard, a renowned leader in cruise ship building.
The new Spirit of Adventure ship will be a sister ship to Spirit of Discovery, as well as similar in external design, carrying up to 999 passengers, balconies for all staterooms and retaining the intimacy Saga is renowned for.
The 58,250 GT ship will be approximately 236 m long, 31.2 m wide with planned completion date Summer 2020.
