French luxury cruise line Ponant extended Sealink multi-band communication services contract with company Marlink, thus securing increased Internet speeds for passenger and ship operations on its 5-strong fleet of high-end luxury yachts in addition to 4 planned newbuilds.
As a result of the agreement, Marlink’s continuously updated multi-band infrastructure will deliver higher Quality of Service to meet the increasing demand for fast and reliable connectivity driven by the global expedition and luxury cruise offering of Ponant.
The satellite services of Marlink for all Ponant ships include class-leading Internet access, as well as premium quality telephone, GSM and data communications connectivity for onboard guests, crew and business based on global coverage.
