Viking Cruises Reveals First Commercial Cruise Ship Call at Port St Maarten

Viking OCEAN confirmed that Viking Sea would be the first commercial cruise vessel to visit post-Irma Port St Maarten on Monday, December 4.

Port St Maarten management revealed they were elated to be welcoming the return of the first commercial cruise ship to the destination and appeal to stakeholders to finalize as much remodeling and clean-up tasks as possible before the port call.

The leader in river and small ship ocean cruising, Viking Cruises, offers destination-focused itineraries specifically designed for experienced passengers who have an interest in history, geography and culture.

Currently, Viking operates a fleet of 61 ships that offer scenic cruising along rivers and oceans of Europe, Egypt, Russia, China, Southeast Asia and the Americas. By 2019 the line will operate six 930-guest ocean cruise ships and will offer itineraries in Scandinavia and the Baltic, Western and Eastern Mediterranean, Australia, Asia, North America and Caribbean.
