Royal Caribbean International informed its passengers that it temporarily closes the private Bahamian island, Perfect Day at CocoCay, through September 4.
Due to the Tropical Storm Dorian's forecasted path, the cruise company informed all guests via email that it had decided to shut down CocoCay until Wednesday.
Any shore trips pre-purchased for CocoCay are due to be refunded to onboard credit. In case a passenger onboard spending doesn't reach the needed amount, the remaining balance is to be refunded to the credit card on file.
The cruise line also promised an itinerary update for vessels by August 28 at 3:00 p.m. EST.
