Variety Cruises announced it will relaunch sailings on July 24 with the 24-stateroom ms Galileo yacht in the Cyclades islands, Greece.

Other yachts are expected to resume service later in 2020-2021 in Seychelles, French Polynesia, Panama, Costa Rica, the Red Sea, and more, Variety Cruises said in a note to travel advisors.

Variety added it would follow “a carefully crafted step-by-step safety and comfort protocol” to responsibly return to the seas during the pandemic.

MS Galileo will restart her 7-night “Jewels of the Cyclades” itinerary on July 24 and operate weekly from the port of Piraeus (Athens) Greece through October.

The 21-stateroom MY Pegasus will resume sailings in Seychelles on September 12 with weekly departures year-round.

Variety Cruises said it was essential to note the cruise ship ban announced by the government of Seychelles, and reproduced earlier in May, does not apply for their small-ship sailings on the Pegasus.
