Pandaw introduces new Combo River Cruise “The Chindwin & Nagaland”

   December 24, 2020 ,   Cruise Industry

Pandaw River Cruises is for the first time offering an extended itinerary cruising the entire Chindwin River from Monywa (Myanmar) to Nagaland (India).

The limited 14-night expedition aboard RV Zawgyi Pandaw combines the standard week-long Nagaland itinerary with the week-long Chindwin expedition giving passengers a unique journey along the Chindwin River.

The voyage is due to visit remote villages, pass through breath-taking scenery and dramatic gorges as well as explore the ancient Nagaland region, popular for its fierce Naga Warriors.

Pandaw said only 2 dates were available for 2021 and those were expected to sell quickly so they would advise booking early "to avoid disappointment.”

The fares for the 14-night trip are from US$8,085 per person with no single supplement on selected dates.

The itinerary for the expedition is indicative only and subject to reconnaissance. As the company travels to remote areas, changes to the itinerary would inevitably occur. A flexible approach is required for those who book the voyage. Chindwin expeditions need special permits that could take up to 3 weeks. The company kindly asks to contact them via email or phone for short notice bookings.
