AQSC-American Queen Steamboat Company, which is part of Hornblower Group, is now the new brand merging AQSC and VCL-Victory Cruise Lines - American Queen Voyages (AQV).

Offering a varied portfolio of North American itineraries, the new company is comprised of American Queen Voyages River, American Queen Voyages Lakes & Ocean (welcoming the VCL fleet), and American Queen Voyages Expedition, including new Alaska and Central America expeditions beginning next year.

Embracing its tagline “Discovery Runs Deep,” AQV invites cruisers to go off the beaten path to discover North America. New encounters awaiting guests include interacting with New England oystermen; docking next to Heinz Field, home of Pittsburgh Steelers; shadowing researchers from California Polytechnic State University on a Zodiac.

New elements will be unveiled in the coming months such as a print and digital campaign, reimagined loyalty program, and onboard enrichment offerings.

Embracing its Mississippi and paddlewheel roots, the new brand celebrates its growth from operating the singular namesake ship, American Queen, to expanding to a 7-vessel fleet with the VCL-Victory Cruise Lines' acquisition.

AQV will offer 8 ships by 2023 and plans to deliver travel experiences throughout America’s rivers, the Great Lakes and Pacific Northwest, Canada and the Eastern Seaboard, Mexico and Yucatan Peninsula, as well as the wilds of Alaska.
