On August 17, 2011, in the evening, the riverboat suffered a propulsion system (propeller) malfunction. The incident resulted in cruise cancellation. All passengers were disembarked and accommodated in hotels in Vienna Austria, from where they continued on the itinerary route by bus.

On August 19, the ship entered drydock in Linz Austria for repairs (replacing the faulty unit).
