MS River Chanson cabins review
(fka River Cloud 2) MS River Chanson has a total of 44 staterooms, all of which are outside. Standard (complimentary) amenities in all cabins include either a double bed (Queen-size) or two twins, bedside tables with lamps, a mirrored dressing table/writing desk with stool, wardrobe, electronic safe box (in the closet), minibar, flat-screen TV (satellite reception, ship information channel with daily scheduled events, real-time bow camera), 220 V power sockets, and an en-suite bathroom (washbasin, WC, shower, hairdryer, shaver socket). All cabins also feature individually controlled air-conditioning.
Junior Suites additionally include a two-seater sofa and three floor-to-ceiling windows. Cabin categories are:
- Junior Suites (“Panorama Cabin” category A, room numbers 2–14) located on Promenade Deck and sized 14 m2 (150 ft2). Each suite has three large windows and a Queen-size double bed (with two separate mattresses, non-convertible to twins).
- Double Bed Cabins (category B, room numbers 26–45) located midship on Cabin Deck and sized 11 m2 (120 ft2). Each cabin has two round portholes (small, non-opening) and two single beds (convertible to a double).
- Two Bed Cabins (category C, room numbers 16–25) located forward on Cabin Deck and sized 11 m2 (120 ft2). Each cabin has two round portholes (small, non-opening) and two single beds (non-convertible to a double / cannot be pushed together).
One wheelchair-accessible cabin is available for disabled passengers. This cabin is located midship-starboard on Deck 2, sized 14 m2 (150 ft2), and features one lower single bed, one wall-mounted upper bunk bed, a coffee table with two armchairs, three floor-to-ceiling windows, and a larger bathroom (with grab rail, lower angled sink, raised toilet seat, and hand-held shower).
Each cabin includes welcome champagne on embarkation day, bottled water, and fresh fruit replenished daily. Room service is provided twice a day.
