National Geographic Endurance cabins review
National Geographic Endurance has a total of 69 staterooms located on 4 cabin decks. Of these, 56 are standard accommodations (75% of all cabins), including 40 with private balconies and 13 designated as balcony suites. The ship’s passenger capacity is 148 (maximum) and 126 during expedition sailings (April through September).
All passenger cabins on Lindblad’s Endurance offer the following standard amenities:
- Living area with a low table and a reading chair or a sofabed (2-seater couch)
- Phone, writing desk with armchair, USB ports, smart HDTV (satellite reception, infotainment system with Internet access, on-demand movies, and ship information channel), Wi-Fi
- “Command Center” featuring a National Geographic World Atlas (paper edition), analog clock, barometer, and a digital tablet providing information on the itinerary and daily onboard/ashore activities
- Twin beds (convertible to a double), bedside cabinets, various pillow options, wall-mounted reading lamps
- Individually controlled air-conditioning
- En-suite bathroom with WC, glass shower, mirrored single-sink vanity with shelves and under-sink storage, hairdryer, and botanical bath products (soap, shower gel)
The Suites are larger accommodations and include walk-in closets, multiple USB docking stations, and expanded command centers (for electronics, chargers, and door locks). Suite balconies are additionally fitted with hammocks. All Balcony cabins include a command center and rain showerheads in the bathrooms.
Twelve staterooms may be booked as single cabins (studios offered with single-occupancy rates). Cabin sizes range from 140 ft² (13 m²) for the “Solo Cabin” to 430 ft² (40 m²) for the “Category 7 Suite.” All staterooms are outside-facing, equipped with either two large non-opening portholes, one large opening window, or a step-out balcony. All balconies are accessed via floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors.
All decks are connected by two passenger elevators and three staircases and are equipped with public restrooms.
