Pacific World cabins review

Sun Princess cabins with balconies total 410 (around 80% of all 603 outside staterooms). Wheelchair-accessible cabins (for disabled passengers) number 19, including 1 Mini-Suite, 6 Oceanview, and 11 Inside cabins.

Below is a review of Sun Princess stateroom amenities, furniture, and included (complimentary) services:

All Sun Princess Suites feature a walk-in closet (ample storage space), a living room (sofa bed, desk, vanity, table, armchairs), and a bathroom with WC, shower stall, whirlpool bathtub, and double sinks. Bonus amenities in all Suites include deluxe mattresses and pillows, two LCD TVs, a CD/DVD player, upgraded bathroom amenities (massage showerheads and luxury bath products), luxury balcony furniture, and complimentary services such as access to the Spa Thermal Suite, Internet Cafe, laundry/dry cleaning, and a one-time minibar setup.

All balcony accommodations feature floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors opening to a private verandah furnished with a round table and patio chairs, plus sun loungers in balcony suites only. Balcony cabins include ample closet space, a bathroom with shower, desk, and drawers. Some staterooms are fitted with additional beds to accommodate a third or fourth guest.

Oceanview cabins have a picture window (category OE with porthole window, category OW with obstructed view). Deluxe and Premium Oceanview cabins are larger in size. Inside cabins offer the same size and amenities as Oceanview rooms but lack a window.

All Sun Princess cabins include a living area (vanity, desk, seating), two twin beds (convertible to a queen-size bed), deluxe bedding with Egyptian cotton linens, closet, desk, smart HDTV, direct-dial phone, electronic safe box, and lifejackets (stored in the closet). Additional amenities include a hairdryer, bath products (shampoo, body lotion, conditioner), minibar/fridge, individual air-conditioning, evening turndown service, and complimentary 24-hour room service.

During the most recent refurbishment by Princess Cruises, all Sun Princess staterooms were upgraded with the line’s signature “Princess Luxury Bed.” This new cruise bed was developed in collaboration with Dr. Michael Breus (known as “The Sleep Doctor”) and designer Candice Olson. The beds feature a luxury pillow-top mattress, individually wrapped coils to reduce motion transfer, and hypoallergenic duvets.

“Club Class Mini-Suite” is a newer cabin category introduced fleetwide in 2017. These VIP Mini-Suite accommodations offer complimentary perks such as Club Class Dining, exclusive access to the Elite Lounge, complimentary in-cabin dining (hors d’oeuvres), and priority embarkation, disembarkation, and tendering.

Club Class Dining features a dedicated area within the main dining room reserved exclusively for Club Class guests. This enhanced dining experience includes expedited seating, dedicated waitstaff, an exclusive menu with chef’s specialties, and tableside preparation of select dishes. Club Class Dining is available daily for breakfast and dinner, and for lunch on sea days only. These new suites replaced some existing Mini-Suites, while retaining the same cabin size and layout as other Mini-Suite categories.
