Review of Transcend Create deck 2 (Cabins-Dining-Spa1-Gym-Forum1)
Deck 2 is the ship's core culinary and enrichment level, with spaces designed for both conventional river cruising and Transcend's full-charter concept. The 120-seat Restaurant and Forum can host the entire group, while the Private Salons, Library Cafe, Barista Bar, and Fitness Studio provide smaller breakout and wellness spaces.
Wine Vault is an integrated wine-storage and display area associated with The Restaurant. The Restaurant has two wine rooms that support premium wine experiences, tastings, and customized dining for charter groups.
The Chef's Table is a dedicated dining room designed for chef-led cooking demonstrations, special/private dinners, and interactive gastronomy. Transcend offers customized menus, guest-chef appearances, cooking demos, and tasting-menu experiences as part of its charter programming.
The Restaurant (~2210 ft2/~205 m2) is the ship's main dining venue, accommodating up to 120 guests. It has wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling windows, two wine rooms, and a flexible layout to accommodate everything from tables for two to large banquet-style seating arrangements. Menus can be extensively customized for charter groups, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options.
The Forum (755 ft2/70 m2, lower level 1 of 2) is a distinctive two-story amphitheater-style venue with seating for up to 120 people. It features tiered seating, unobstructed views (from wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling windows), and full and professional audiovisual support. It can be used for lectures, presentations, plenary meetings, live entertainment, movie nights, and culinary demonstrations.
Barista Bar is a dedicated coffee venue serving complimentary specialty coffees, teas, and light bites. It is designed as an informal social space and can also support smaller meetings and gatherings.
Private Salon 1 and Private Salon 2 are intimate private rooms intended for smaller group meetings, private dining, and breakout sessions. Each salon is ~160 ft2/~15 m2 and accommodates up to 12 guests. Both have audiovisual capabilities for presentations and meetings.
The Library is a quiet reading and relaxation area with a curated collection of 500+ books. Books can also extend into passenger staterooms for use during the cruise. The Library doubles as a small-group gathering space.
Fitness Studio (815-ft2/76-m2) is a gym and yoga space with exercise equipment and a separate room for group activities. Transcend's wellness program includes cardio, strength, core, and digital fitness classes, as well as yoga, stretching, breathwork, and meditation sessions.
Cruise cabins from 201 to 233, all of which are essentially identical (210 ft2/20 m2) staterooms with full-width French balconies (drop-down sash windows/floor-to-ceiling windows), convertible European King-size/twin beds and spa-style bathrooms. Adjacent cabins can be combined into 420 ft2/39 m2 Two-Room Suites.
One elevator connects decks 2 and 3, providing access between the main public areas on these two floors.
