Deck layout and review

Review of Transcend Engage deck 1 (Crew-Client Cabins-Studio)

Deck 1 is particularly important to the ship's charter concept. Rather than filling the lowest deck with conventional passenger facilities, Transcend uses it for the client's dedicated workspace, staff accommodation, flexible Studio, laundry, and ship operations. The Studio + client office + three staff cabins effectively create a dedicated headquarters for the group organizing the charter.

Self-service guest laundry (with two sets of washers and dryers) provides on-demand laundry, pressing, and steaming services.

The Studio (1560 ft2/145 m2) is one of the ship's most distinctive spaces, with capacity for up to 80 people. It is highly flexible and can be configured as a meeting or event space, trade-show floor, children's activity area, command center for the charter team, or yoga studio. Full audiovisual support and flexible furnishings are available. Its location beside the client office and staff cabins is deliberate: the space is specifically designed around the needs of the charter client.

Client Office is a dedicated office space for the charter/client team, allowing organizers to manage their onboard programming. The Client Office includes associated storage. A dedicated client-branded Reception Desk is also provided. A full-time IT manager supports customized content and technology.

Client Staterooms include three dedicated staff/client cabins located adjacent to The Studio and Client Office. These cabins can accommodate up to six people in total and are intended for the charter organizer and support staff.

Staff and Crew Cabins. Deck 1 also contains crew accommodation and operational areas. The facilities include a Messhall (dining room and bar lounge), supporting the ship's 54-member crew.

The aft Propulsion Room houses machinery equipment (associated with propulsion and vessel operation) and is a crew-only operational area.

One elevator connects decks 2 and 3, providing access between the main public areas on these two floors.
