Review of Travelmarvel Capella deck 3 (Upper-Lobby-Lounge)

  • The bow-located Verandah (Lido Terrace) is an outdoor lounge with small seating capacity. A stairway from the Terrace connects directly to the Restaurant (Main Deck / below) and to Sun Deck's Lounge (above).
  • The fore-located Vista Lounge and Bar is the boat's show lounge with floor-ceiling windows, confortable seating and dance floor. The Salon-Bar also serves the cruise company's onboard enrichment program and as entertainment offers live music performances, crew show, playing cards and board games, bingo, popular quizzes, skat tournaments, napkin folding lessons, themed dance parties in the evenings. The traditional Captain's Reception (cocktail party) is a formal event held in the Vista Lounge.
  • Upper Deck is the riverboat's Lobby Deck with midship-located Foyer (entrance hall), Reception Desk (24-hour assistance, information, purser services), Travel Desk (tours and excursions information, onboard cruise booking),  Boutique Shop and Library (reading corner with books and board games). From the entrance hall is accesses Vista Lounge.
  • Aft is located McGeary’s Bar (Pub / Lido Bistro) - an alternative casual restaurant served by its own Bar. McGeary’s Bar has an outdoor terrace (with small seating) and open kitchen (live cooking). Here are served early Breakfast, light Lunch and Dinner. Weather permitting, Bar's floor-ceiling windows are fully opened onto the terrace for alfresco dining.
  • Cruise cabins from 301 to 334 are all French Balcony staterooms (with floor-ceiling sliding windows opening to a railing) in categories UD-Upper Deck French Balcony and UDS-Upper Deck Suite (Midship and Stern).
  • One Lift (midship-portside elevator) connects all cabin decks. All decks are inteconnected via stairs (forward, midship and aft), including a grand staircase in the Atrium (between decks Main-Upper).
