Review of Travelmarvel Vega deck 3 (Upper-Lobby-Lounge)

The bow-located Verandah (Lido Terrace) is a bow-facing outdoor lounge with a small seating capacity. A stairway from the Terrace connects directly to the Restaurant (Main Deck / below) and to Sun Deck's Lounge (above).

The fore-located True North Lounge & Bar is the boat's show lounge with floor-ceiling windows, comfortable seating, dance floor, electronic piano, large TV, media equipment, direct access to the Verandah. The Salon Bar also serves the cruise company's onboard enrichment program and as entertainment offers live music performances, crew shows, playing cards, and board games, bingo, popular quizzes, skat tournaments, napkin folding lessons, themed dance parties in the evenings. The traditional Captain's Reception (cocktail party) is a formal event held in the True North Lounge.

Upper Deck is the riverboat's Lobby Deck with midship-located Foyer (entrance hall), Reception Desk (24-hour assistance, information, purser services), Travel Desk (tours and excursions information, onboard cruise booking), and Boutique Shop and Library (reading corner with books and board games). From the entrance hall is accessed Vista Lounge.

The aft-located McGeary’s Bar (Pub / Lido Bistro) is an alternative casual restaurant served by its own Bar. McGeary’s Bar features floor-ceiling windows and a large TV. Here are served light Lunch and Dinner (from a pub-style menu). At the Pub, passengers can relax and enjoy the riverside scenery whilst watching Sky Sports (satellite British sports channels) and the evening music entertainment.

Cruise cabins from 301 to 334 are all French Balcony staterooms (with floor-ceiling sliding windows opening to a railing) in categories UD-Upper Deck French Balcony and UDS-Upper Deck Suite (Midship and Stern).

One Lift (midship-portside elevator) connects all cabin decks. All decks are interconnected via stairs (forward, midship and aft), including a grand staircase in the Atrium (between decks Main-Upper).
