Windstar no longer requires pre-cruise COVID testing

Windstar revised its COVID protocols and procedures: the line will no longer require a pre-cruise COVID test for embarking passengers (unless required by one of the countries on the scheduled itineraries).

The changes will go into effect for voyages departing on/after September 6, 2022.

As part of the line's Beyond Ordinary Care health & safety program, Windstar will still require all passengers to be fully vaccinated and show proof of COVID vaccination.

The exception to the new testing procedure is that Windstar Cruises must follow the local rules/regulations of all the countries it visits: currently, Greece, Canada, Australia & New Zealand (subject to change) still require COVID pre-testing before boarding any vessel in their waters.

Chris Prelog, President of Windstar Cruises said that safety and wellness were their first concern, and those new procedures would simplify the process of sailing with them on a fully vaccinated ship.
