GMT-Global Marine Travel will provide travel management services to Crystal, relaunching its cruise brand with a couple of ships in the summer of 2023.

GMT (2001-founded/London UK-based, part of the V.Group Marine Services Division) is due to provide Crystal Cruises with access to specially negotiated net-fare airline contracts for passengers and crew members. It will link its comprehensive travel fulfillment platform with Crystal Cruises’ reservation platform to enable the brand to seamlessly create affordable airline/cruise travel packages for passengers.

In addition, Crystal will use GMT’s itinerary planning services/flight charter options when planning future itineraries.

Tim Davey (GMT's founder and managing director) said GMT had provided outsourced air/sea services to cruise lines since their inception in 2001.

“The ability for boutique cruise lines to market airfare with their cruises from day one with little to no start-up costs or additional technology expense is a huge benefit. We’re excited to be engaged by Crystal as it continues to forge its path as a newly independent cruise line.”
